Want to be an astrologist, but equipment is too expensive?
Make your own telescope out of these easily accesible materials; a bit of sticky tape, three or four cardboard centres from toilet rolls, a piece of tracing paper and three plastic straws. You'll also need some scissors
Carefully put each of the toilet roll centres inside one another and secure with sticky tape. Then cut out two pieces of tracing paper so that they are a bit larger than the holes at the ends of the toilet rolls and tape them over to make a lense. Now affix to a tripod made from the straws and you have your very own astrology kit.

Cold in the winter, but can't afford wooly winter gloves?
Use soft drink cups as convieniently shaped gloves for added cosy warmth. The ones available at many 'fast-food' restuarants are ideal. If they so big that they drop of then simply drip candle wax around the insides untill they reach the correct size. |

Make your own toothpaste. 1 part vinegar (its tangy so it must do something), 2 parts tea bag (for that fresh tea feeling), 1 sugar (so as not to 'overdo' the cleaning) and 3 parts car wax (for added shine).
This homemade toothpaste is nearly as good as the real thing and costs only a fraction of the price to make. |
